Personal information processing policy
“INNOX Advanced Materials Co., Ltd.” (hereinafter referred to as “company”)
values the personal information of our client, which is you, and abides by the “Act on Promotion
of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information”.
The company informs how the personal information that you provide is used for certain purposes
and by what methods and how your personal information is being protected based on our
personal information processing policy.
Should the company change its personal information processing policy, they need to publicly
notify it on its Web site’s Announcement Section (or individually notify).
ο This policy came into effect since May 9, 2008.

consultations, for requesting services, among others.

The company is to terminate the relevant information immediately without any notice once the
purposes of collecting and using the personal information have been reached.
■ Procedure and method of terminating personal information
In principle, the company should terminate the relevant information immediately once the
purposes of collecting and using personal information have been reached. The procedure and
method of terminating personal information are as follows.
ο Terminating procedure
The information inputted by the member is transferred to a separate DB once the purpose is
reached (in case of paper materials, we keep it in a cabinet) and are saved for a set period in
order to protect the information according to related laws and the company’s internal policy, after
which it is terminated.
Personal information transferred to a separate DB is not used for other purposes unless the law
says otherwise.
ο Terminating method
- Absolute deletion and termination from DB.
■ Provision of personal information
In principle, the company does not provide any personal information of its users to outsiders.
However, the following exceptions apply.
- When users agree in advance
- When an investigating organization demands it according to procedures and methods set by the law for investigation
purposes or based on legal regulations.
■ Consignment of collected personal information
The company is not to consign to an external company clients’ personal information without the
clients’ consent. If in case it is necessary to consign in the future, the company is obliged to notify
its clients on the content and those that are subject to consignment. When necessary, the
company must have an authorization from the clients in advance.
■ Rights of users and attorney-at-law and how to exercise the rights
Users and their attorneys-at-law can access and amend their registered personal information or
for those of children younger than 14 years old anytime and can also request cancellation of
membership.
To view and amend personal information of users or those of children younger than 14 years old,
the users should click “Personal information change” (or “Amend member information”, etc.). To
cancel membership (cancel agreement), users should click “Cancel membership” to confirm
identity; after which, users can directly view, amend, or cancel membership.
Users can also contact the person responsible for personal information management via writing
on paper, telephone, or e-mail, upon which the company will take immediate measures.
Should you have requested amendments to your personal information errors, the company does
not use or provide the relevant personal information until the amendments have been completed.
In addition, when erroneous personal information is provided to a third party, the company will
immediately contact the third party after processing the amendments in order for corrections to
be made.
Oo Canceled or deleted personal information requested by a user or by his or her attorney-at-law
will be processed as stated in the “period of keeping and using personal information collected by
oo”. The company processes the information so that it may not be viewed or used for other
purposes.
■ Installing and managing the automatic personal information collecting device and items for
rejecting it
We do not operate devices that would automatically create and use personal information when
using Internet services, such as cookies.
■ Civil petition services related to personal information
The company has outlined the departments and designated people to take responsibility for
personal information management to process complaints related to personal information and the
protection of clients’ personal information.
